    @928vamoskata …thats not true, he can still achieve this kind of level in grandslams…AO 2010 for example, he hasnt been healthy in these last months but hes been resting now and will get healthy, and the US open has the surface that suits his game

    most notabe thing is federer hits so much less slice here than he does now, both aginst nadal and just generally. maybe he doesnt have the power to rip backhands like these anymore but there seems a general corelation between the less slice he hits to rafa the less he gets raped. but even the forehand has more range and power whilst his movement is also quicker. if he gets back to playing like this he could take even the modern day rafa(who is a freakshow in his own right). peace
