Federer was sooo dominant he was a guaranteed win EVERY SINGLE TIME but………. that was only versus everyone NOT names Rafael Nadal. How can u considered to be the best of all time when the “2nd best tennis player of the decade” beats u every time out. Obviously Federer is in the conversation as best ever but u cant say he is clearly beest of all time hands down. reminds me of his buddy tiger woods, if he dont pass jack nickolous’s record then he aint the best, also I think tigers on steroids
@shall2347 i used to think that too until someone pointed out to me that although they are 14-7overall, 9-2 of that is on clay. nadal is by far the best right now on clay, but all around federer is still better.
@wizardrac yeah but I could care less what surface they play on. they could play on stones, the detroit red rings home ice, the surface on the planet mars, or while wearing flip flops i dont care. who beats who is all i wanna no and much more often than not Nadal wins (just like today in wimbledon)
federer could have very well been a little overrated.look at the opponents he played against since 2003,only rafa last year was his competition,the rest of the players were shit since sampras and hewitt but hewitt was a short term champ.Now federer has to face better people and he looks beaten already,not rafa because rafas serve is getting better and all he needs is a hardcourt ability and he’s the best ever.

who did federer play and beat,murray,roddick,they’re shit!!! there really was no competition for rger until last yeaar and this year,now we’ll see if he has any mental strength.Rafa has beaten more times.federer might have been overrated.we might have overdone it alittle with him.Actually the era of the mid 2000′s was the shittiest since the early 70′s!!! @cj397 sampras played against much better players and he won slams in an 11 yr span!!!!! Federer might not win another one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but even if he wins a few more,his span is only in the 7th year!!! He’s a guy with the nimble feet,those types decline drastically after their footwork stops working like it used to.
