How To Watch Mad Men Episode – whitehall
The big takeaway from Sunday night’s “Mad Men” is clearly never leave the key to your secret life as an identity thief in your bathrobe when you aren’t the one doing the laundry. Betty’s discovery in an hour when she spent much of her time reading “The Group” (with whom do you think she is feeling the deepest kinship — Kay?) was one of the most stunning surprises “Mad Men” has sprung yet, a revelation that seemed as though it wouldn’t happen for a season or so. Now the question remains: How long will Betty hold on to what she knows?
Roger’s recitation of Don’s achievements, including his phony career as a war hero, at the 40th-anniversary party for Sterling Cooper clearly filled Betty with revulsion, and despite her transgressions of recent weeks — her selfishness, immaturity, refusal to nurture her children — it is impossible not to feel for her all over again. What has Don ever wanted from Betty other than, as he put it last night, to show her off, to prop up his lies? Apparently her hunger for blank objectification goes only so far, even as the series spent much of the season reducing her to little beyond that desire.
Another surprise (in addition to the fact that Sterling Cooper has a janitor named Achilles who magically becomes a source of late-night inspiration for the creatives) is Don’s quickly deepening relationship with Suzanne. There were genuinely tender moments between them amid the corny spooning and exchanges of affection. Don’s desire for Rachel Menken during the first season was lustier, more desperate; he craved her as salvation. While there is still the possibility that Suzanne will turn out to be completely out of her mind (who really did call the Drapers and hang up?), Don’s attraction to her seems to stem from something healthy: she can care for people the way no woman in his life — certainly not his mother and not Betty — has ever been able to. Don sees her as his own better, a person who would not coldly abandon an ailing sibling the way he did. (And while we’re on the subject of Suzanne’s devotion to her epileptic brother: His instant assessment of Don — “He sure knows how to leave a room” — might have been the best line of the evening.)
The movie is derived from Chuck Hogan’s book ‘Prince of Thieves’. The shooting would begin in September in Boston. No doubts it’s great news for the fans of Don Draper, a.k.a., Jon, as we would see our favorite star on big screen. Let’s see whether he would repeat the same success, that of Mad Men, on the big screen or sets news standards of success.
Anyways, everybody has set sights on the upcoming episodes of the series. But I still have no details about the season third opener, neither about the storyline nor even the title. AMC Network has not released any details officially. No body knows why the network is hesitant to make it public. Well, if anybody has any informationw, please, please let me know. I am dying to know the details of ‘Mad Men’ season 3!
Heya friends !!! Good news for all the fans those are mad for the Mad Men show. The Screen Actors Guild Awards people have taken out the list of nominees to award the best of the talent in the year 2008.
